Hi All,

Do competitions sites always have a power supply for competitors - like Big BBQ and paddle round the pier?

Cheers

I've got a UPS which in theory should run my controllers for several hours. One of mine runs off mains otherwise I might just have bought a leisure battery to run them both.

As for blowers, I used one I got from eBay. I actually bought 10 so I have some spares. I'll happily let you have one if you want.

I'll send one to you mate, don't worry about Paypal, just cover the p&p, you can have the blower. We'll sort it out at the Big BBQ.

I think it's JEC whose been experimenting with running an IQue 110 (which is 12v) using a cordless drill battery.

Ive also been wondering about power issues.
Thinking of adding a GMG DB pellet smoker but needing something to power it over night when mains power isn't available.

According to pelletheads its initial startup is 220w then settles down to 6w or so. So Im wondering if something like http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001 ... d_i=468294 would do the job? Or do I need to be hooking up batteries and inverters and the like. Need something simple, just like me.
