Two Weeks Today - Jammin' in July will be over!

Postby All Weather Griller » 17 Jul 2011, 19:56

Can't wait for this next competition. I'm hoping we get some good weather, we may have a couple of sponsors coming down for the Lamb lunch that is open to members.

One more practice weekend to go. :o

I have no idea which teams are entered, so.... if you're in let us know!

See you there

I guess we'll be there but I haven't figured out how we're gonna manage it yet .There's a helluva lot going on for us between now and then. Keep an eye open for a Jay Rayner review of BBQ Shack which could be in next weeks Observer.

Exciting stuff by the sounds of it John. Good luck with the review, I’ll defiantly be keeping an eye open for it.

Sadly I’m not going to be there in July as already had a holiday booked, but i wish everyone else good luck and I’ll see you all at Rudgewick.

That's great news on the business front John, but we wouldn't want you to miss the comp if you don't have to.

On the weekend I took my 42 tonne lorry down to Brighton, for a delivery to a major supermarket. Whilst I was there I took advantage of the BBQ Shack home delivery service. And I wasn't disappointed. The delivery was very prompt and polite, and the portions were very filling and plentiful. In fact, I had to take the rest back to the depot for the other drivers to taste. Even after a couple of hours the brisket and pulled pork was still moist.

Just a shame I didn't get more flyers as I had about 20 drivers asking for them.

John thanks for a great meal and it is no wonder you are doing well.
