This competition was really hard work for me. The stokers weren't doing what they were supposed to. Maybe i was putting too many too small chunks of wood on at a time but I was getting more spikes than a junkies bedroom. I feel very lucky to have received the results I did based on this performance but what i will say is that the cameraderie was absolutely wonderful.Toby and Kate were wonderful hosts as usual.Thanks to Jennifer and Joanne from Bunsen and Burner for feeding my team when I neglected them. The kids presentation was very special. A beautiful family atmosphere all round that everybody present should feel proud to have been a part of. The photos That I've seen so far are great. I love my BBQ family weekends. Thank you all.
