Wife ordered it a out an hour ago for fathers day. Happy days!

Remembered I gave my brother a sausage stuffer years ago for his birthday, don't think he's used it in years so might be able to get that on the cheap. Things are looking up! Lol.

Well I have to say this book is excellent!

Just made some frankfurters and they are super yummy! Did plain and smoked. Both really good.

I've had that book sitting on my shelf since I bought it, just haven't had the chance to even look at it.
Got a bit of spare time this weekend, so I might give it a squizz.

Not read it (but want to) - Arron Franklins book 'A Meat-smoking Manifesto' not so much on the curing of meat but a good read for BBQ low n slow

Lord, try the franks if you like them. Really good.
Will try some breakfast sausages and some chilli ones too. Mmm.

Exacty what I wanted really, more the whys and wherefores than recipes.



Buck, I've not really read many books on bbq. Only the webber one I got when I first started.
Tend to look on the net.

I'll give them a try. Between cooking Pecan Pies and Cannoli to take to a BBQ round a mates and then getting roped into grilling in the rain at said BBQ and then cooking Feijoada for the outlaws yesterday whilst repotting a load of chillis and building some vaping gear, I didn't get a chance to look at it again.
Maybe I'll take it to work, I seem to get more spare time there.....

Smoke by Tim Byres has some good stuff in it that covers the basics.

Aaron Franklins book is pretty in depth a d a great read but it's maybe a littler too obsessive geek to help you in your first few cooks.
