What's Cooking?

Postby mcdodge » 07 Jan 2011, 18:19

What are folks cooking this weekend?

I'm awaiting a wood delivery, so no smoking for me this weekend. Going to go hunting round some butchers though...

Pictures would be great... To whet my appetite!

Nothing for me I'm afraid, been to the butchers and ordered a butt for next weekend.

Will be doing Ribs, Pulled Porked Shoulder and maybe a Brisket next weekend.

Nobody doing any smoking then?

I went butcher hunting today, found a nice one in a nearby high street.

The owner said they "can cut and trim to your exact specification"! I've ordered a pork shoulder to pick on Thursday for a weekend smoke. Muchos excitedo

That's not to say I haven't eaten Q, we just knocked up some boil in the bag left overs my my Work BBQ back on the 23rd Dec. Pulled Pork Sandwich with Burnt Ends and BBQ Beans, tastes as good now as it did then and only 50mins in hotwater.
