Indoor UDS

Postby floydmeddler » 25 Mar 2016, 08:01

Hey folks,

I've turned half of my garage into a brewery and currently have my UDS sitting in there. I like it where it is and would like to keep it there permanently. The main reason is that I don't want it getting destroyed in the garden and I can happily smoke in rainy/windy weather without a worry.

Obviously the flue/chimney will be situated outside. I'll also hook up a permanent temp control fan system to keep temps under control.

Is this a dumbass idea?

Not ideal. But so long as you install a CO meter it should be ok. Not sure I'd want to take the risk though.
