Ranger vs frontier?

These look the same to me are there any differences? Also I've found the frontier on eBay for 170, but it's from somewhere in Europe. Has anybody bought one from them? If not then any suggestions on good suggestions on where to buy from?

I bought my Frontier Elite from Mac'sBBQ... http://www.macsbbq.com

It was £250 all in for the unit, 2 bags of smoking chips and 5 day courier delivery to Northern Ireland. They seem to be the official distributor of ProQ products in the UK and I have read nothing but good reports of them on here. Although I haven't had to use it, I hear they have excellent customer service as well.

Unless your Ebay find is second hand, I would be wary of mega deals like that. Personally I shop by the mantra "if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't true". Although if you do go for it, make sure you pay by PayPal so you get their fraud guarantee.

Yeh that was my original thought, seems a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Also woul be worried about getting hit with import/ shipping charges that arnt mentioned. I'll have a look at Macs seems a good bet. Is there any difference between the two models though? Or is the ranger just a new name for the frontier?

The Frontier is 43cm in diameter and the Range is 37cm. A bit smaller.

Ah ok, might go for the frontier then. Have to convince the wife that a smoker is more important than a bookcase
