Hi
As above, with the winter months upon us, where do you source your briquettes from when it disappears off the shelves to make room for Christmas tat?
I know I can get the cheaper briquettes from the garage forecourt but I prefer the premium brands like Weber and heat beads which I find don't give off that acrid smoke that the cheap stuff does.
I'm in Portsmouth if anyone happens to know a local source. I know I can buy it online but the delivery can be a bit steep.
Thanks

I think you will find Toby has stopped selling stuff for a while.

Hi Tiny I'm in Baffins.
Still no joy sourcing any decent briquettes locally, I'll have to slum it with lump wood for now.
If anyone can recommend a good stable indirect method that doesn't involve briquettes then I'm all ears. I normally use the snake but I don't trust it with lump.

I've bought briquettes from the local kebab shop in the past when I got stuck over winter. Personally I always order online from BigK, they stock lump and briquettes all year round, yes you do have to pay for postage but I buy enough that it still works out cheaper

I usually use Heat Beads and I buy them all year round from wowbbq.co.uk
http://www.wowbbq.co.uk/weber-accessories/charcoal-and-wood. They are usually the cheapest and they often have them on special offer.

WowBBQ sell weber briquettes.
Alternatively one of my local garden centres stocks weber items all year round, have a look at some in your area?
