Insulated containers for resting meat

Postby Crowdedbar » 14 Sep 2015, 16:43

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good container for allowing meat to rest, without losing temperature too quickly. Have seen mention of the Cambro food holders but these I guess are commercial quality and the prices reflect this.
Any suggestions or tips gratefully received. I have a bbq planned for this weekend (the wife's birthday) - all the meat purchased and ready for the smoker on Friday but I want to make sure that everything gets served up at optimum temperatures.
Thanks Julian

You could just use a cool box then packed tightly with towels...

Pork butts will stay hot for a good 2-3 hours just wrapped tightly in foil
