Be interesting to find out how much shipping is on a fully loaded.
Too bad there's no where to get a semi decent off set over in the UK.

Hi

Depending on exchange rates anywhere from £2600 to £2700 fully loaded Wichita to your door all in.

I know a guy was making reverse flows on here (BBQ Design) for between £1500 and £2000 using 5mm steel. if you are willing to shell out he might be just worth a PM

Certainly echo the point that cheap offset smokers aren't worth the money.

Remember when calculating the costs on import you have to put the duty (I think it's 5% on BBQ) not just on the goods but also on the shipping costs. I imported a BGE many moons ago before UK agents and caught a cold.

What about offset american smokers uk built?

I would seriously consider www.bbqmates.co.uk nerijus has been building them for years and stepped up to heavier gauge steel. He also has the craziest designs I have ever seen (decoration wise) the models he took to grillstock looked incredible

For the money i think the Yoder and Horizon offsets are some of the best. Both have 6.35mm (1/4") thick steel with a lifetime warranty against burnout.Gator pits and Lang are two others. Thicker steel holds in heat better, saving wood and gives more even temps. just my opinion i work for none of them.
