Well I didn't inject and it turned out amazing, soooo moist it was amazing

I guess if you have a really good bit of meat with plenty of intramuscular fat then it wont make much difference. If too lean maybe it helps then?

I did my first brisket this weekend. I did inject and it was lovely and tender and moist. That said you didn't inject and yours sounds awesome. So maybe injecting is a waste of effort

I really think you have to play it by ear at the time. My thinking is that if you have a lean bit you might not know it. So, if you inject a good bit of meat it doesn't hurt but if you don't do it for a lean bit it might be dry?
Doesn't take that long does it? Plus you get flaour in the centre of the meat.
