My wife says my meat is too big!

Sorry about that  Hopefully I will win 'most interesting thread title of the year award'.
Anyway I ordered a brisket from our local farm and went to collect it last night. My question is ....Is it normal for a brisket to be 3 foot long and only weigh 10kg? Is the butcher they use cutting it too thin?

hope the pic works

So many butchers cut it differently, looks like the rolled brisket that you get in Bookers and other such places. once you cut the string and flaten it should be a pretty good piece of meat.

Love the tltle, sure you will spark some interest
