Hi
I've been looking at amazingribs.com and into dual probe thermometers. I like the sound of the Maverick ET-733 but I can't find anyone in the UK selling them. I can obviously order from the US but then have to deal with customs etc.
Is there an alternative? A quality dual probe setup I can buy direct in the UK for sub £75?
Thanks
James

I just looked but they don't have the 733 in stock, I've email to find out when they might get it back in stock as I need to get one asap.

Amazon.co.uk seem to have them for about 60 pounds too.
I got one of these from lidl a while back:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Landmann-13625- ... 00H96QFK2/I paid less at lidle (about 14 pounds I think), but it works just fine as a remote bbq thermometer. You can set a maximum temperature alarm on it too.

I really want the ET-733 due to reviews and the fact it's dual probe so I can measure both meat and grill temps.
I'm so surprised there aren't more available in the UK, what do the pro bbq's use?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Copper-Maveri ... 1481609617Shipped from the US - but they offer the duties and taxes pre-paid.
With shipping and duties and taxes - all pre-paid, comes to about US$99 - about 60 pounds delivered.
You might wait a a few days, but there you go.

The 732 is dual probe the 733 just has some more fancy settings on what meat you have cooking so probably won't use

I have a 733 that I imported from the States and it took about 2 weeks to arrive and there was no extra duty to be paid on delivery etc.
I still think your best bet is to call Mac's as he did have stock a few months back as he was selling them on Amazon. Give him a call tomorrow and I am sure he will be able to point you in the right direction.
