I know this is a pretty old post but ouch, those prices! I order chipotle's from these guys, don't think you'll find much cheaper in the uk @ 50g for £1.99

Hi Ady,

I found Mexgrocer too and have a pack in the kitchen at the moment.

Al, it's good to know that you can get spices sent over as I've been using some ancho chilie powder that I picked up whilst I was over in NY but that's fast running out and haven't found anyone over here that sell them.

I bought 6 bags when tesco's ran out / stopped stocking them. I make a mean chilli which just isn't right without a few chipotles in :)

I try support the following crowd - not only because I am a chilli freak, but I have stopped off and visited them and fell in love with the operation. However, they do a massive range of chilli's

If you want some real heat, try the Jolokia - It will have you doing handstands in the shower, but I find the Ancho chilli does better in BBQ sauces than the chipotles.

I use http://www.hotsauceemporium.co.uk/detail.php?prodID=169 you get a fair few chillis in the bag and they are a nice quality from Mexico.
