Al, it's good to know that you can get spices sent over as I've been using some ancho chilie powder that I picked up whilst I was over in NY but that's fast running out and haven't found anyone over here that sell them.

I bought 6 bags when tesco's ran out / stopped stocking them. I make a mean chilli which just isn't right without a few chipotles in

If you want some real heat, try the Jolokia - It will have you doing handstands in the shower, but I find the Ancho chilli does better in BBQ sauces than the chipotles.

and this year i decided to grow my own chillies, when i get a good crop i'm might try and smoke my own
