Re: Proq Frontier Elite

After four hours there was perfectly smoked chicken and ribs. Great level of bark on the ribs with juicy smoked pink flesh. Definitely more smokey flavour and seems a level above previous weber kettle cooks.

Re: Another go at Ribs!

Like a nice bite. Bit of resistance and some chew. Feels more satisfying when tucking in.

ivation wireless dual probe

Hi, I am after my first digital thermometer and just seen Amazon UK has the black ivation wireless dual probe in stock for £44.99. This seems a good price for what reviews compare on equal terms with maverick. Has anyone had any experience with these and can confirm they are just as good? Struggling ...

Re: Hello from Glossop

Hi. Im also in glossop and have also today purchased the proq frontier elite. Made the same decision that the weber kettle isnt quite the right tool for the type of cooking i have been preferring.

Have you had any luck sourcing local wood? Not getting anywhere.

Re: Shoulder of lamb

Would this more suit a wet rub of say oil, garlic, rosemary, salt n pepper? Keep it simple with a BBQ sauce on the side? Plan to shred best I can for on sandwiches drizzled with the sauce.
