Re: Uuni 2S

well - got the scales out on Friday as I fired up the Uuni to try out some sirloin steaks!

I think the avg scoop is around 50g of pellets, and I think it took about 7 scoops to fill the hopper for starting, and about 18 mins to get to a point I felt it was ready to cook - my ET733 nor Thermapen go ...

Glad it worked well.

How much of the pellets did you get through? Kg or notes wise?

Pellet wise I'm not really sure, I think it take about 5-7 scoops for the initial load ...

Re: New to Smoking - What to build?

Cook lots and chuck it in the freezer Mike! That's what we do and there's nothing quite liking chomping into a lovely homemade pulled pork roll for lunch whilst your colleagues are eating those sorry looking supermarket abominations from their prepacked sandwich aisle. Re: UUNI Pizza oven

Hey BintMan,

I'm soon to be a proud owner of an Uuni as well! :)

How were your results from the weekend? (admittedly aaaages ago)

I haven't got any pellets on order as yet, did you (or anyone else) find a suitable/cheaper alternative?

Looking forward to my first wood fired pizza! :D
