I bought a hot dog in the Costco cafe the other day and it was one of the best I have ever had apart from Chicago. Unlike Ye old oak type rubbish it had a real bite to it and a great meaty texture. So now I'm on the look out for some good hot dog sausages.

Sorry I haven't read the whole thread but I mixed some of this that Eddie gave me with big K briquettes. Yes I was a bit scared they would not light easily enough that why I mixed it. Got a really good smoke in my Weber Kettle and I found the temperature easier to regulate that normal. Held between ...

With rubs is easy to guesstimate because a lot of times it will come down to personal preference in terms of the amount of sweetness,spice and salt that you may prefer.
