Re: Miss Piggy's in Georgia and North Carolina.

The KCBS tie breaker resulted in a 3rd place. Congratulations to Scott and Lyndz on their finish. See the results ...

Hi All,
Want to offer my congratulations to Bradley Wiggins for winning the Tour De France. It was a well earned and deserved victory. Hope you all enjoy hearing your national anthem being played in a few minutes.

Re: Slap Yo' Daddy Aka Harry Soo BBQ Classes!
Davy,
Harry doesn't normally do boxes at the backyard class. There is no harm in asking him. He does show others how to do boxes at competitons so you may have that opportunity when he competes the following weekend if you are there.
Enjoy the class.

i had to poke the brisket from one side just to shut the 57cm lid.
Sounds like you are on the way to becoming a successful brisket cook. One thing I do with very large briskets is ...

Congratulations to Miss Piggys BBQ on their GC and the opportunity to compete at the Jack Daniels Invitational. Hats off to all the teams who took part. From what I read, the wind was brutal.

Re: Brisket and Pork Butt - WSM - Help
I always cook a brisket and 2 pork butts together both in competiton and at home. I cook the brisket on the top shelf. All meats are cooked fat side down. As stated above, use the final 2 hours before serving to rest the meats tightly wrapped in foil/blanket and inside a cooler. Working your ...
