I found the old matress, no material just springs, on some waste ground, (along with 5 pallets that i used for the burn).

camping this weekend with the family, got very very wet saturady.
then it cleared up and managed to cook ribs and chicken for everyone, went down a storm (sorry for the punn)

Yes it was my friends cheap fuel, i'll use better stuff next time. luckily everyone was too piddled to notice, and just glad it wasn't my friends usual burnt offerings.
