I found the old matress, no material just springs, on some waste ground, (along with 5 pallets that i used for the burn).

I used some side cutters to cut the wire between the springs. I first cut out 3x9 springs and then used the same wire to join the springs into a circle. I then used some more of ...

Just some pics of my UDS. Cost me about £25 in total.

Oil drum free from local garage, contained motor oil and had a sealed lid.

Do any of you wonderful people use online butchers?

There are a few cropping up at the moment, just wondered if they are any good for more unusual cuts, breeds or animals.

camping this weekend with the family, got very very wet saturady.

I use Red Poll mince from the local butchers (my son thinks he picks out a cow for me from his classroom window) and these are always great.

Yes it was my friends cheap fuel, i'll use better stuff next time. luckily everyone was too piddled to notice, and just glad it wasn't my friends usual burnt offerings. :lol:
