Done!!
Yesterday was the inaugural 'firing up' of the Smoker. Started off with seasoning the beast for about 4 hours then back up to 225F and chuck the brisket on (had been dry brining for 24 hours) and 2 racks of ribs.
5 hours later (could have done with more but ran out of time) and my first ever ...

Thanks, really pleased how it came out. Just hope it smokes as well as it looks!!

Out of interest, who is your mate? My main business is also making gates, hence having all the necessary gear.

Hi, thanks for the reply and no pun intended (didn't even think about that!).

All welding/fabricating done by my own hand.

Have uploaded photos taken during the build and a video of a test smoke (with a piece of paper) to see how she would draw (and she did great).
