A bit late I know but I got a GMG Davy Crockett at the start of summer.
The thing is awesome. Even the missus has confidence to use it (just like an oven for her) and I've come home to some great smoked brisket after work :)
We also got an event shelter so it doesn't matter if it looks like rain ...

Sorry to ask another question, but I hope any answers may also be helpful to the OP.
Does lump wood charcoal or briquettes survive a winter in a garage? Or do we end with damp fuel in the summer?

Just did ribs today on the weber charcoal so no burgers I'm afraid

Last weekend I picked up a kilo and a half of "proper meaty ribs" for £7, there was virtually no ribs just delivious porky goodness, fed the family and had enough left over for adding to a pork and beans pot to feed 4 again.
