I boil in the bag mostly, heats it up nicely, without excess moisture.

Small cubes of frozen fresh meat, mince very well. Try freezing some and then examine them, they are certainly 'softer' that an 'ice cube' which I regularly blitz in a liquidiser with blades that are a lot thinner and more flimsy that the cutter blades in my mincer. I monitor the warmth of the ...

I use a vac sealer, this prevents a lot of the water crystals

Tofu will take on any flavour it's introduced to, a bit like aubergine. I soaked some in soy sauce, and have used it in veggie chilli to bulk it out

Depends if it's been previously frozen. Agree if it has, it's not recommended to re freeze

I use minced beef for my fatties, I cut the beef into small cubes and freeze em before mincing them, I seperate the flesh from the fat and mince the fat finer. The packs of sausage meat useually turn up in the supermarkets around christmas time
