Re: maverick Battery usage
Hi
Im the same as Scantily, have the ET732 for 2 years and only changed the batteries once.
I do cook often, although last year wasn't that busy but still used it. Ive had it on for 15-18hrs before with no problems.
Didn't know or haven't heard about it trying to sync when turned off though.

Re: A wager I want to lose
Sorry Derek
Yeah i'll always do beer can chicken, like yourself I like the reaction from my guest when it comes off the smoker.
Love the people that bite over the "science" bits, as though science has no place in bbq lol
I haven't seen any arguments on here, i'll keep my eye out for the next one ...

Mr Miller
I will not be mentioning beer can chicken on facebook again
I think some people just want to argue, on another post someone was trying to get into an argument with Toby.
Its normally nice and peaceful on here

Hi
I like the facebook page, its good to put peoples faces to the names but I always come back on here to read all the posts.
This is where it all started for me with regards to smoking.
I actually know nothing about veal so I guess I learnt a bit from this post.

Re: ProQ vs Webber vs Other
Hi
I started out with the Pro Q Frontier and learnt on it, It was just under £200 and nearly 2 years later its still in great working order.
I then picked up a 57cm weber smokey mountain which is big, really big lol, I do cook for a few people and always have enough room on wsm but the frontier I ...

Hi
The white bag of weber long burn briquettes are decent enough, does leave a yellow ash in the bottom but I never had it on the food, decent long burn low and slow aswell, might have to get up during the night to add more coals once or rarely twice.
I have a weber showroom near me and they sell ...

Re: GMG Daniel Boon - first impressions
Great review Tiny
I'd love one but just cannot afford it right now.
I have a pitmaster iq and as it gives me a decent nights sleep and the food is just as good then as far as I can see all is well with these kind of things, I don't see it as cheating just helping us along to good food.

Re: Kit -- apologies in advance!
How many of us have had the smoker made up and sitting in the front room, mine lasted one night as I was cooking the next day.
