Thanks for the support and kind words. We all had a fantastic time. Personally I don't think I cooked to the best of my ability. The chicken and brisket were both overcooked as the results show. Having said that I am thrilled with our placings and hopefully will return to the 'Jack' again soon.

It's good isn't it

The reason you have conflicting answers is because different cooks prefer different ways. You may get many answers on here too. Personally I prefer to leave overnight after injecting but at least 4 hours. Others like to inject and throw it straight on the pit.
